Coming from the background of a travelling missionary worker and pulpit preacher, I have evolved to become a COMMUNITY BUILDING STRATEGIST with a firm focus on family discipleship and national development.

Over the years, I’ve often worked through partnerships with the Local Church (LC) and Local-government Council (LC) to impact the Local community (LC).
A program I recently dubbed LC4LC. I am alive to disciple families and develop nations through empowering people to discover and manifest their individual potential and cooperate resourcefulness towards creating safe self-organized and sustainable local communities.

My professional competencies are in the areas of personal growth and development trainings, organization team building engagements, one on one and small group transformational life coaching sessions, peer-to-peer mentorship programs, life-to-life discipleship programs, social entrepreneurship mentorship sessions, training of trainers programs, community organizing initiatives, and experience-based learning practices.

I am gifted in the areas of revelations bible teaching and the worship music ministry, and my message and music focus on drawing people into the secret place of an intimate personal relationship with God that results in a lifestyle yielded to true love and genuine service, toward God and mankind. I love travelling, camping, reading, teaching, fieldwork, small group fellowships, family visits, and movies.

Furthermore, I am a multi-gifted and talented worker within my skill set, and I’m always open to collaborations and partnerships that promote mutual growth and socioeconomic transformation.

My family has lived through poverty for as far as I remember. My parents did everything in their means to take me to quality schools, hoping that I would be a great success and change the family status. It never happened, as I did not pass the standardized advanced level exams and could not get a scholarship to proceed to the University. My parents did not have the confidence to tell me that they did not have money for fees, but through the silence, I saw their pain. I had an opportunity to join SINA. I have used this opportunity to equip myself for my success and support those many Ugandans with similar pain.

I have experienced a lifetime at Sina. Most importantly, I have learned that I can create anything and become anyone I want. SINA has given me the space for self-exploration, making mistakes, and, most importantly, learning from them. One key realization is that I was born for a reason: for a greater good.

I was born in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo). Due to political instability, since 2012 I fled my country and arrived in Nakivale, a large refugee camp in Uganda, where I lived for three years without any future plans, I had to keep myself busy and useful and I engaged in social work for the youth in the camp, and this is how I got connected to SINA and joined with a scholarship and saw the opportunity.

SINA is a unique space that allows me to express my passion, goals, dreams, and best of all, to expand my awareness about cultural differences. SINA helps me getting specific to answering the big WHY did God put me on this earth.

From a scholar I moved on to become a facilitator and become part of SINA Global, as well as Co-Founding “Lazima Nipate Academy” the SINA Community in Kampala for urban refugees.

I want to contribute to a world where young people get time to discover what they love and are passionate about and use that to create meaningful solutions to problems. I am passionate about creating a world that favors all no matter your background, a world where both individuals and their companies are driven by purpose, a world in which there are no bosses but rather a world in which we respect each other best on our potentials or abilities.

My life’s purpose, to which I am wholly committed, is to unleash the potentials of people to become the change they want to see.

I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany and from a young age, I was fascinated to explore the world. At 17, I lived abroad in the USA as a high school exchange student for one year. At 19, I went to Uganda in 2006 to volunteer at the Kankobe Children’s Home for a year instead of joining the obligatory military basic training. Seeing that the orphans I was living with could not continue schooling after finishing their primary school, I started a sponsorship program. Since new kids would join the program every year, I founded the NGO Jangu e.V. in 2009 to manage the program professionally. While doing my Master’s Degree in “Peace, Development, Security and International Conflict Transformation”, the first generation of sponsored orphans graduated from High School in Uganda but could not find jobs or go to university. I dedicated my Master’s Thesis to understanding this challenge. In an open-space dialogue with the first generations of sponsored youth, we co-created the ideas behind SINA in 2013 and started implementing them.

I am a maker. I am a creator. I create memorable learning experiences for the human soul. My skills are speaking, creative writing, and facilitating learning.

I am a fifth born in a family of 6 children. Three girls and three boys. I lost my father when I was 10 years old, leaving us with a single mother who has raised all of us to adults. I was born in Mbale, Eastern Uganda but grew up in Kampala. I dropped out of Makerere University in 2010 after five years of failing to graduate. With no hope of getting a job, due to a lack of academic documents, I resorted to volunteer work and developing my personal skills and experience. I volunteered as a leadership trainer in a community church for seven years. I was drawn to community psychology, self-help, and social entrepreneurship. I later got a job with Educate! Uganda as a Program Coordinator for experiential learning in schools. I gave formal education another try and I recently attained a Bachelors’s degree in Development Studies at Uganda Christian University.

SINA is a channel, a conduit, a medium through which I express my purpose to unlock and release human potential. It has availed me many opportunities and connected me to wonderful people who have helped me bring my dream to life. I am passionate to help people find and create meaningful work that solves real world problems while bringing them joy and fulfillment in the process. SINA has helped me find my niche in the world and make a unique contribution towards advancing the human condition. For this, I am forever grateful.

I was born as the seventh child of a family with seven kids in the beautiful town of Soroti in easter Uganda. Together with three classmates, I founded the AIESEC chapter at the International University of East Africa. When I am in a new environment, it is easier for me to be quiet and express my opinion only when I need to.

SINA is the only space I have ever found in my entire life, where I have the opportunity to realize my fullest potential. Through SINA, I have been able to define my purpose and how I can align it to my daily life. Through taking over roles, I have learned, grown, and developed my abilities to relate to people. My most significant learning is that I am only as good as how far I am willing to challenge myself to grow and to learn.

I am passionate about providing humans as well as communities at large with equal opportunities. My biggest dream is to create a fully-fledged platform of personal development, impacting over 5,000 individuals. Further, I would love to participate in international policy development processes like the African Union or the United Nations to design tomorrow’s world.

I am from Germany and was working as an electrical engineer when I noticed that technology needs to serve people to be helpful. I quit my job and started to study vocational education. I soon realized vocational education focuses on creating employees rather than supporting youth with the necessary mindset and skills to challenge and recreate economic and social value.

In a time of globally interlinked challenges, we need new approaches for education that foster resilient and empathetic teams and communities. I got connected to Etienne Salborn and heard about his endeavor to create a place in Uganda for humanistic and intrinsic learning towards social entrepreneurship. I decided to join, move to Uganda in 2014 and co-create the model of SINA and create a concept for entrepreneurship education. My involvement went from fostering a mindset of facilitation among the early adopters of the concept towards helping people to challenge and reinterpret the idea in their surroundings for replication. Now six years later, I am living together with Maggie, my beautiful Ugandan wife, and our child Finn. Every day I am focusing to continue to realize create the dream of self-organized academies for social entrepreneurship.
