SINA scholar Kisitu Aloysious was invited from Uganda to Berlin to take part in an initiative around fast fashion, its problems and how to repurpose old clothes. It ended with an event on “Black Friday” to create awareness about the problem of clothes being thrown away. The local Berlin TV station RBB reported about it and also interviewed Kisitu (video in German only):
