The province of South Kivu in Democratic Republic of Congo, faces poor management of plastic waste and carpenters wood waste, which leads to water channel blockages (lake Kivu, rivers) and the flooding of gutters which in turn causes enormous damages such as landslides (more than 5000 reported cases of destroyed houses in Bukavu city and KALEHE) leading to death of more than 15 000 people since 2015 and the destruction of the environment.

In order to solve this problem, SMART ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN Manufactures electric lampshades and wall sconces (lights), home decoration and ornament products from plastic waste. On top of the plastic waste, we add on other kinds of waste like carpenter's wood waste and metal scraps that we put together to create beautiful designs for our customers as we contribute to the reduction of the poorly disposed waste.

We make Beautiful, ecological, decorative and environmentally friendly products designed at the convenience of the customer. Our products are locally produced and made according to the needs of the actual customers who will use them unlike other products on the market, of which designs are imposed on the buyers.
