Afya Moms & Tots is a social enterprise based in Mpigi, Uganda, focused on combating child malnutrition among vulnerable communities. The enterprise produces Wise Baby Porridge, a locally made, affordable, and nutrient-rich food designed for children above six months. In addition to providing nutritious products, Afya Moms & Tots delivers nutrition education to mothers and caregivers to improve feeding practices and child health. The enterprise particularly supports low-income and refugee families who face limited access to proper nutrition. Through this combined approach, Afya Moms & Tots works to reduce stunting, strengthen immunity, and promote healthy child development.
