Unlock your potential and discover your personal purpose through social entrepreneurship with our three-month “Purpose Safari” program. This unique learning opportunity will help you grow personally and professionally and inspire you to create innovative solutions to pressing social issues.

SINA is the perfect place for those seeking meaning and purpose in their lives and careers. If you are from a marginalized background or refugee, especially in East Africa, you may be eligible for a full scholarship covering tuition and living expenses to join SINA.

Join a community of like-minded changemakers and experience the culture of empowerment at SINA. Each week, you will receive life-coaching from experienced coaches to set your own goals and unleash your potential. You will also have the chance to create your own “freesponsible” curriculum tailored to your individual needs and learn how to start a successful social enterprise.

During the program, you will have access to a vast network of SINA partners, social entrepreneurs, and potential donors and investors from around the globe. You can also delve into specialized areas such as training facilitation, life-coaching, self-organization, finance, fundraising, and monitoring and evaluation.

Spaces are limited, with 10 spots available for Ugandans and 5 for international scholars. The program is residential in Mpigi, Uganda and runs three times per year: February to May, May to August, and September to December. The cost of the program is €1,100 ($1,200 USD) and includes all sessions, accommodation, meals, training materials, and excursions. Your contribution will also help cover the scholarship of participants from marginalized backgrounds in Uganda who may not otherwise be able to afford the travel costs to attend SINA.

How it works:

The Certificate program is for three-month and residential in Mpigi, Uganda at SINA. There are three starting points per year, every year:


February – April
June – August
mid September – mid December

Costs:

The cost for the entire program is 1.100 € (or $1.200 USD).
It includes the Sessions, Accommodation, Full Board and all needed training materials, as well as excursions.

FAQ

How much does the program cost?

The program fee is includes includs all sessions, learning materials, accommodation and full board. Part of your costs will cover the scholarship of participants from marginalized backgrounds from Uganda, who are unable to afford even travel costs to SINA but wish to transform themselves and their communities.

How do I get a visa?

The application process is done online. Choose the categories “Uganda Ordinary/Tourist visa” and “Single Entry”. You will need the following documents: A passport copy, a passport photograph, and a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate. The application fee is 50 USD. Use the online application system to apply for a visa.

Where will I be living?

You will be living in one of our residential buildings in the centre of SINA grounds. You will have your own room.
