SINA wins UNHCR NGO Innovation Award

We are excited to see the UNHCR having announced via Twitter that our SINA Loketa Team, which has been implementing the SINA Model in the Bidi Bidi Refugee Camp in northern Uganda to benefit the 270,000 South Sudanese refugees living in the camp, has won the UNHCR NGO Innovation Award 2018. The Award celebrates efforts and achievements that advance the innovative delivery of services to refugees and is given to NGOs that demonstrate commitment and creativity to achieving improved efficiency of services for forcibly displaced people.

Sylvain Himbana from the Loketa team is invited for the High Commissioner’s Dialogue on Protection on 18 – 19 December in Geneva to receive the Award in person.
