The SINA Startup ‘Reform Africa‘, upcycling plastic bags into backpacks, was featured as “one of six innovative uses of plastic waste” in The Guardian and also as “5 ways plastic waste is being used creatively around the world” by the World Economic Forum. We are excited to see such wide recognition for something which was born at SINA in our first and main SINA community in Mpigi, Uganda, called “Jangu International“.
