Mackline Kobusingye has been with SINA since 2014 as a coach and trainer and recently founded the Mother Support Foundation as a social enterprise producing baby kits. It provides accessible, timely, and quality maternal healthcare services to pregnant women in rural Uganda through a mobile clinic. The services offered include antenatal, delivery, and postnatal care. The aim of the project is to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates, which are still high in Uganda, especially in rural areas where access to healthcare is limited. She emerged as one of the winners of the 2023 Savvy Prize for Impact-Driven Entrepreneurs. The Savvy Prize is an international competition that seeks to recognize and support the efforts of innovators who are working to solve some of the world’s most pressing problems through sustainable and innovative approaches.
