Exactly twelve months ago the UNDP in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) selected a young person (named Israel) to come to Uganda and experience the SINA Model first hand and learn all the necessary skills to replicate it and create social impact in Kinshasa. After arrival, he teamed up with a SINA scholar from Goma, DRC (named Baraka) and despite COVID, SINA was able to equip the two with all tools and skills. We are extremely happy to see yesterday’s inauguration of SINA in Kinshasa (locally in registration as “Congo Innovation Academy” or CINA) with their first 24 scholars.
After the SINA Community in the Tongogara Refugee Camp in Zimbabwe, SINA is now present in three countries and seven communities.
