The Anzisha Prize is celebrating africa’s youngest entrepreneurs who are making a difference in their countries through social businesses. Last year SINA scholar Joan Nalubega became the second runner up of the Anzisha Prize (which also came with a grant support for her enterprise Uganics of $ 12,5000 USD), we are very excited that this year another SINA scholar, Saudah Birungi, was nominated for the Anzisha Prize and is becoming an Anzisha Fellow in collaboration with the African Leadership Academy.
With her enterprise “Tusafishe”, community biosand water filters are being created, providing clean and safe drinking water to thousands of people.
