SINA (Social Innovation Academy) is unleashing the potential of disadvantaged youth and refugees in Africa to become the change they wish to see in the world as social entrepreneurs. A unique and freesponsible framework started in Uganda and has been replicated to 20 locations in 8 countries. We would love to invite you to our “Social innovation Learning Journey 2025” across three SINA Communities, two of which are located in refugee settlements, as well as two national parks for game view on the Nile as well as tracking silverback gorillas.

The next trip is from the 9th (arrival) to 17th March (departure, without gorilla tracking till 15th) and we have 4 out of 12 slots still available. The costs are 3.500 € including everything in Uganda (accommodation, transport, full board, entry fees, etc. and without gorilla tracking 2,000 €). The group consists solely of successful (social) entrepreneurs and founders, and many have been advancing New Work and self-organization in their own companies. Participants are encouraged to share skills and knowledge during the journey with SINA Scholars through 1h sessions for a mutual give and take.

For an exploratory call or more details reach out to Etienne Salborn, who will accompany the trip and has been recently named among the Leaders50. Lets discuss the details, simply reach out to: etienne@socialinnovationacademy.org

I must say it was an incredibly enriching journey. The experience provided a fantastic platform to learn about SINA’s efforts in developing the spirit of entrepreneurship among young people in refugee camps, and it also offered opportunities to network with industry experts and peers alike. The insightful presentations not only expanded my knowledge but also inspired me to think creatively and approach challenges from new perspectives. Furthermore, the organization and execution of the learning journey were impeccable, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees. I highly recommend the SINA learning journey to anyone looking to partner with a forward-thinking organization that is driving change in underserved and developing communities while also enhancing their skills and broadening their professional horizons.
