I was born in the eastern part of DRC from a humble background. I grew up in wars, insecurity, and without access to proper education. My parents didn’t have the opportunity to go to school, which caused low self-esteem for most of my ten siblings. At the age of 14, I started doing some small businesses (selling airtime, raising goats) to find school fees and cover some basic needs. I was lucky to graduate from high school. I joined a program “THINK AFRICA” under the organization CIYOTA that referred me to join SINA.
SINA is a place that changes lives. I have discovered the best of myself and improved my skills at a personal and professional level. I have experienced a social entrepreneurial growth and moved out of my comfort zone to maximize all opportunities around me. I learned that even without any money, I could generate income and create a lasting impact on communities.
I am passionate about creating communities to help people. I want to unite youths from various tribes, backgrounds to fight the unemployment problem in DRC. My dream is to create a social enterprise that focuses on building a community transformation center for youths.
