Edson Niwamanya

I am a brainstormer and creative thinker. My family has lived through poverty for as far as I can remember. My parents did everything in their means to take me to quality schools, hoping that I would be a great success and change the family status. It never happened as I did not pass the standardized advanced level exams and could not get a scholarship to proceed to the University. My parents did not have the confidence to tell me that they did not have money for fees, but through the silence, I saw their pain. I had an opportunity to join SINA. I have used this opportunity to drive my own success and support many Ugandans with similar pains.

I have experienced a lifetime at SINA. Most importantly, I have learned that I can create anything and become anyone. SINA has given me the space for self-exploration, making mistakes, and most importantly, learning from them. One key realization is that I was born for a reason: for a greater good.

My dream is to create a people transformation center and bring people from different parts of the world to experience transformation and contribute positively to themselves and the world. I believe everyone has the potential to contribute positively to themselves and the world; they just need the space to discover it.

See my roles!
