I was born in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo). Due to political instability, since 2012 I fled my country and arrived in Nakivale, a large refugee camp in Uganda, where I lived for three years without any future plans, I had to keep myself busy and useful and I engaged in social work for the youth in the camp, and this is how I got connected to SINA and joined with a scholarship and saw the opportunity.
SINA is a unique space that allows me to express my passion, goals, dreams, and best of all, to expand my awareness about cultural differences. SINA helps me getting specific to answering the big WHY did God put me on this earth.
From a scholar I moved on to become a facilitator and become part of SINA Global, as well as Co-Founding “Lazima Nipate Academy” the SINA Community in Kampala for urban refugees.
I want to contribute to a world where young people get time to discover what they love and are passionate about and use that to create meaningful solutions to problems. I am passionate about creating a world that favors all no matter your background, a world where both individuals and their companies are driven by purpose, a world in which there are no bosses but rather a world in which we respect each other best on our potentials or abilities.
