Tunaweza Innovation Hub

Tunaweza Innovation Hub, located in Luweero District, Bombo Town, addresses youth unemployment by providing free learning spaces designed to foster creativity and innovation among disadvantaged youth aged 18-30. Our approach complements traditional vocational training by focusing on self-directed learning, personal growth, and business development, thereby enhancing employability and entrepreneurial potential.

Through well-researched postgraduate programs in entrepreneurship, we equip graduates with advanced skills and resources necessary to excel in the job market and thrive as entrepreneurs. By bridging the gap between traditional vocational training and innovative entrepreneurship education, we establish a comprehensive pathway for sustainable socio-economic development in the Bombo community.

We aim to positively impact a significant portion of the youth population in Bombo, supporting those who are financially unstable and need help enhancing their technical skills and employability. Each participant has the opportunity to delve deeply into their areas of interest, develop practical competencies, and explore entrepreneurial opportunities tailored to their unique talents and aspirations. Over the next decade, we envision leaving a lasting legacy of empowered youth equipped with the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to succeed in the ever-changing job market and contribute actively to their communities’ social and economic development.

Our primary target audience includes disadvantaged youth aged 18-30 in Bombo, who face barriers to employment due to a lack of creativity and innovation in their technical skills. These individuals often come from impoverished backgrounds and may have limited access to educational and economic opportunities. We also target young graduates of technical and vocational programs who still struggle with unemployment despite their training, as well as youth currently enrolled in educational institutions and the broader youth population in Bombo town. By addressing these diverse groups, we aim to tackle the multifaceted challenges of youth unemployment and provide tailored solutions that resonate with their specific needs and circumstances.

We actively involve our target group in our organization’s activities and programs through regular workshops, coaching, and mentorship sessions held within our learning spaces. Continuous feedback and needs assessment are integrated through structured mechanisms, including surveys, focus group discussions, and one-on-one consultations with participants. This enables us to tailor our programs to the evolving needs and aspirations of our target audience.
